Evaluate
 

Juniors.net's literacy, numeracy and science modules have each undergone independent, impartial evaluation by Evaluate – The Digital Evaluation Service.

Appointed by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) to provide an evaluation service for products registered on Curriculum Online, Evaluate is a partnership between learnthings and the Guardian.

'Evaluate' aims to provide a clear picture of the use and benefits of digital resources for classrooms, in relation to both the requirements of the National Curriculum and DfES guidelines regarding good practice in teaching.

English/Literacy @ Juniors.net:

Activities are closely related to the NLS and support the teacher with their depth of coverage.

It offers very good facilities to plan, allocate and review pupils’ work done.

Fun activities in a virtual world reward pupils…

Teachers can track individual and class progress and create certificates showing percentages achieved.

Pupils were keen… and appreciated the humour, characters, colourful graphics and animation.
