BETT awards Juniors.net shortlisted for prestigious BETT 2004 'Online Learning Resources' Award

Aim of Award: To recognise creativity, innovation and commitment of an organisation or company in developing high quality and effective learning resources deliverable online, either free or subscription.

The BETT Awards are celebrated worldwide as a benchmark of quality and innovation in the educational industry and, essentially, stand to ‘reward excellence in ICT’. The prestigious awards aim to show the link between high quality ICT and effective educational practice.

In Owen Lynch’s (Chief Executive, Becta) words:
Increasingly the focus of the awards is on how successfully the winning hardware, software and online learning resources have been integrated into teaching, learning, management and administration, so demonstrating their ability to transform teaching and learning.

Juniors.net has been designed and built on the aim to provide a quality-assured online educational resource that not only offers teachers ease and control in their planning and assessment but also offers children a sense of independence and motivation in their learning.

To have been shortlisted for the ‘Online Learning Resources’ award is a wonderful recognition of all that Juniors.net has set out to achieve.
